I don't tend to blog about these things too often, but there's been some pretty exciting press about piddix lately that I wanted to share. The first is a book called
Photoshop Wow by the lovely and talented Linnea Dayton. Linnea first contacted me almost two years ago to be part of her Photoshop book and it was finally published last week. It features at least a dozen pages on piddix including an "artist gallery spread," a "secrets" spread, and sample piddix images on the CD (not that I'm counting or anything ;). Fun!

The banner for the piddix blog was recently picked by Artful Blogging as part of their "Banners We Love" section. I was especially excited for this one because it's an original collage I made based on some of my favorite scans.

And finally, the always-amazing Jessica Moreau-Berry of
Junque Revival has a huge article featuring her jewelry in the Winter 2010
Belle Armoire Jewelry. Here's my favorite line (of course) that also happens to be the first line in the article:
"As a found object jewelry artist, I am always looking for new ways to combine my favorite antique treasures with the beautiful images of nature that I download and purchase from
piddix.etsy.com."
Have I mentioned lately how thankful I am to work with such talented, kind, and thoughtful artists? Thank you thank you thank you.
